Bose, a well-established name in noise-canceling technology, is gearing up to challenge Sony's WH-1000XM5 headphones and WF-1000XM5 true wireless earbuds. The leaked information about Bose's upcoming products, the QuietComfort Ultra headphones and the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, includes images and details.
Both the headphones and earbuds will be available in black and white options. Unlike Sony's touch gestures, the QuietComfort Ultra headphones will feature physical buttons for controlling music playback and adjusting volume. These headphones will also include a USB-C port.
The QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds will follow in the footsteps of Bose's previous model, the QuietComfort Earbuds II, featuring soft ear tips and a similar design.
According to recent reports, the QuietComfort Ultra headphones are expected to be priced at €499.95 (Rs.45,296.04) in France. On the other hand, the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds will likely be priced at €349.95 (Rs.31,713.51) in the same country. Additionally, there will be non-Ultra QuietComfort headphones priced at €399.95 (Rs.36,237.09) in black, Cloud White, and Cypress Green. These headphones might have fewer features compared to their higher-priced counterparts.
For comparison, Sony's WH-1000XM5 headphones were released last year with a price of €419 (Rs.37,968.94), while the WF-1000XM5 earbuds launched at €319 (Rs.28,908.70). Bose's products are set to have a higher price, and consumers hope there will be significant features to justify the cost difference.
Bose is expected to officially unveil these new headphones and earbuds next month. Stay tuned for further updates on their release.
